Kylie Padilla to Aljur and AJ: “I Wish You Guys Were More Careful”

Kylie Padilla addressed the issue regarding AJ Raval apologizing to her after the actress reshared Aljur Abrenica’s harsh words against Kylie on Facebook.

This stemmed from Aljur’s allegations that Kylie was the first to cheat in their relationship.

Despite AJ clarifying multiple times that she was not the reason behind Kylie and Aljur’s separation, both Aljur and AJ have been heavily criticized by bashers.

On October 20, AJ explained that she didn’t intend to drag Kylie into the issue when she reposted Aljur’s accusations about Kylie supposedly being responsible for their family’s downfall.

AJ said:
“I wasn’t trying to interfere in the issue. I shared it because I was trying to protect myself and my family since people were accusing me.

“They called me a mistress, a homewrecker, which is not true.

“I didn’t ruin anyone’s family, and I never will.”

Kylie, however, said she has no issues with AJ.

In an interview on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) that aired on GMA-7 on October 24, the 28-year-old actress expressed her understanding of AJ’s struggles.

Kylie said:
“I actually wanted to talk to her because I’ve been through that—being bashed for being courted.

“I wanted to help her out on how to handle it to avoid what’s happening now.

“But since my help wasn’t asked for, I won’t give it anymore.”

Kylie emphasized that she has no issue with AJ and Aljur’s growing closeness since she and Aljur agreed they could date other people after separating in April 2021.

However, Kylie noted that if Aljur criticized her on social media to defend himself, it isn’t her fault that the public continues to criticize him and AJ.

“I totally understand where they’re coming from because, of course, AJ is the new girl being courted, and now they’re getting bashed.

“I’ve been on that side, and I know how scary and confusing it is, and how much it can damage your mental health, right?

“But I wish they had been more careful.

“They can’t blame me for that because we had an agreement that we could see other people.

“I wish you guys were more careful. Don’t blame it on me.”

Kylie was referring to Aljur and AJ’s public display of affection in a mall and other photos of them together that spread online.

On Aljur Calling Out Robin Padilla’s “One-Sided Story”

Kylie acknowledged that Aljur’s decision to lash out against her may have been triggered by her father, Robin Padilla, revealing that there was a “third party” in their relationship.

Robin publicly shared this in July 2021.

On October 19, Aljur claimed in a post that Kylie was the first to have another man before he began seeing another woman.

However, Kylie denied having any “extra-marital relationships with other men” while still with Aljur.

Kylie didn’t comment on whether she currently has someone new in her life but said:
“I understand where my ex is coming from because my dad cares for me. He saw that I was sad at the time, so he spoke up.

“Aljur felt the need to tell his side, and he’s entitled to that. But it all boils down to how we handle the situation.”

Referring again to Aljur and AJ, Kylie said:
“When they entered that situation, they already knew what people would say.”

Kylie believes it’s inevitable for people to criticize Aljur and AJ since she and Aljur are still technically married in the eyes of many.

“On paper, we’re still married, even though we’re separated. I wish they had been more careful,” Kylie reiterated.

Timeline of the Separation

The trouble in Kylie and Aljur’s marriage first surfaced when Kylie posted cryptic messages on Instagram in February 2021.

According to Kylie, they separated in April 2021, but it only became public on July 7 when Robin revealed that a “third party” caused the breakup.

Months later, by late September, speculation arose after a photo of Aljur, seemingly taken at AJ’s home in Pampanga, went viral.

Kylie clarified on October 1 that it wasn’t an issue for her since she and Aljur had agreed to date other people.

On October 5, AJ admitted to PEP.ph that Aljur was courting her and that they had a good understanding.

By October 6, viral photos of Aljur and AJ holding hands and hugging while shopping in a mall sparked further backlash.

On October 11, screenshots of Kylie’s private chat with fans surfaced, where she directly cleared AJ of being the “third party” in her breakup with Aljur.
