LeBron James Reacts To The Most Recent Bronny James Mock Draft Position

The Lakers selected Bronny James, the son of franchise power forward and NBA legend LeBron James, in the first round of the draft, sparking a new discussion about nepotism in sports. Many thought Bronny didn’t deserve to be selected as the 55th overall choice because of his below-average statistics. But some detractors—among them an NFL veteran—are beginning to accept the notion that Bronny is getting preferential treatment because of what his father stands for.

Channing Crowder discussed LeBron’s basketball career, which culminated in him being one of the two flag carriers for Team USA at the Olympics, on a recent episode of the Pivot Podcast.

Channing Crowder speaks about Bronny James, Comparing Him to LeBron James
In reference to LeBron, Crowder made the observation that in the African-American community, LeBron represents prosperity. He is a wonderful husband, parent, and individual. Beyond just being the greatest basketball player of all time, he is also a fantastic person being and a wonderful role model for Americans.

The former linebacker further asserted that LeBron should receive special care for his son and other family members, saying that he deserves everything that comes his way. It is impossible to match the standards he has set, both on and off the field.

” So any hater out there, and I can be the hater of all haters sometimes. LeBron deserves everything he has. I feel as if Bronny is getting special treatment because of his daddy. Yes, he deserves that too. He deserves to have nepotism or whatever it is a preference over people because he’s LeBron James. “

Even if Crowder, a James hater, has a different opinion on James than he had before, he still believes that Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.
