Alden Richards was one of the many guests who graced the Bingo Plus Anniversary dinner Saturday night held at the grand ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC, Taguig City.

During his quick huddle with the media, Alden gushed when asked about fans’ requests about doing a sequel of “Hello Love Goodbye” with Kathryn Bernardo.

Alden said he wants to do it when the right time and opportunity comes along. The actor also praised Kathryn’s refreshing aura in her new era.

“Nakakatuwa na I’m really seeing her parang coming out of her shell, kita mo sa kanya eh. It manifests. The photos and videos that we see and the projects that she has been doing, really says a lot about her state of mind right now. And the condition of her life right now, she deserves that,” he said.

When asked had he reached out to her already, he said: “Nakakamusta naman natin siya and at the same time naman, yung friendship never naman nawala ever since.”

Last January, it was announced that the MMFF 2023 top grosser “Rewind” that stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera under Star Cinema beat the box office record set by “Hello Love Goodbye” in 2019.

“It’s not really a feeling of defeat but more on gumaganda ang kalidad ng pelikulang Pilipino. And that’s enough reason for all the producers and filmmakers to really make quality films.”

He added, “Kapag pinakita natin na maganda ang isang proyekto, tatangkilikin po talaga siya.  That’s why I’m very happy for Kuya Dong and Yanyan, of course Star Cinema and Direk Mae (Cruz-Alviar), for being able to produce another masterpiece. It really encourages producers and actors like me na makagawa pa tayo ng mga magaganda.”

Alden said he is more inspired now to create quality films that Filipino movie goers would love.

“Yun lang naman po ang hinihingi ng Filipino audience eh, is something worth watching. So let’s give them that. Let’s not deprive the Filipino audience of the things that we are capable of doing.”
