How true is it that the name of Coco Martin is prohibited to be mentioned on GMA shows?
The name of Coco Martin, reportedly, is prohibited to be mentioned on the shows of GMA 7.
As Kapamilya actor, Coco is one of the in-demand stars in ABS-CBN now. He is currently the lead actor and director of the top-rated Ang Probinsyano.
He is starring in a movie with GMA stars, Bossing Vic Sotto and Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.
The movie is titled Jack Em Popoy and its trailer was even shown on the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga.
It is not usual that stars from rival networks come together in one movie project.
However, there were also a few times that this happened. An example of this rare team up is this movie of Coco, Vic, and Maine.
MMFF film entries started showing their official trailers on TV.
On the other hand, a report from Bandera stated that Coco Martin is prohibited to be mentioned on the shows of the Kapuso network.

It was said that a netizen noticed that the name of the Kapamilya actor was not mentioned on a news program.
The said show has the tagline “walang kinikilingan, walang pinoprotektahan, serbisyong totoo lang.”
Because of this, reportedly, the show received bashing.
Based on the report, here are some comments from netizens about this issue:
