Coco Martin revealed that he will not direct his 2018 Metro Manila Film Fest entry with Vic Sotto.
Members of the press were able to interview Coco during his press conference for Sarsaya earlier this afternoon, July 5, at the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City.
Their MMFF 2018 entry is titled Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles is produced by MZet, APT Entertainment and CCM Films.
“Pangarap ko na makatrabaho si Bossing [Vic]. Akala ko nga hindi niya tanggapin ang inaalok ko,” he said about this project, which the ABS-CBN actor conceptualized.
Earlier reports indicated that Coco (as Rodel Nacianceno) would serve as the director but he clarified this by saying, “Hindi muna ngayon kasi ako nagdi direk ng Ang Probinsyano.
“Si Mike Tuviera [ang director].
“Sa creative, ako ang creative.”
Is it true that Maine will be his leading lady in their MMFF 2018 entry?
“Honestly, binubuo pa kasi namin. Siyempre, marami pang ina-ano.
Does he also watch Eat Bulaga?
Does he want Maine to be his leading lady?
“Sana lang mapagbigyan.”
Has he already talked to Maine and/or her camp?
ON PAST TAMPUHAN WITH VICE GANDA. Was there an offer for Coco and Vice Ganda to team up again in a movie?
Coco pointed out, “As of now, wala pa kasi naka-dalawang magsunod kami.
Is Coco now on good terms with Vice Ganda?
“Okay na,” he admitted.
“Nagkayakapan kami. [Sabi namin], ‘Para tayong t*nga.’
“Samantalang, tayo yung magkakampi. Tapos biglang nagkaroon ng tampuhan. After that, wala na. Okay na.”
