Daniel Padilla jokes about how many times he did a single scene in the movie Barcelona.

MANILA – Daniel Padilla’s concert at the Araneta Coliseum in February has been moved to a later, undisclosed date.

In an interview aired on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, the actor explained the decision to postpone what would have been his first major concert at the Big Dome since 2014.

“Hindi kaya ng sched eh. Masyadong masikip, mahihirapan tayo. Matutuloy pa rin iyong concert pero hindi sa February dahil hindi kaya dahil sa pelikula, sa teleserye –ang hirap naman magbigay ng show nang hindi ka handa. Siyempre dapat ready ka,” he said.

Padilla is set to return on the big screen next year with onscreen partner Kathryn Bernardo –a reunion project with director Mae Cruz Alviar.

The pair worked with Alviar on the box-office hit “Crazy Beautiful You.”

They will also star in the sequel to the hit fantasy prime time series “Imortal.”

Tickets for Padilla’s concert, dubbed “DJ Classics Back at Araneta,” were originally intended to go on sale on November 30. It was then moved to December 14, but has now been postponed indefinitely.

The last time Padilla had a major concert was back in 2015 when he staged “Most Wanted” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
