After a long showbiz hiatus, Julia Montes is reportedly making a movie comeback (finallyyy), and she’s starring opposite Coco Martin! Here’s everything we know about the project, so far:
What’s the movie about?
Not much is known about the story yet, but we do know that Coco and Julia have been shooting in Pola, Oriental Mindoro. PUSH reports that former actress and now Pola mayor Ina Alegre posted photos with the pair on social media, which have now been deleted. In a reposted video, she said the movie will be directed by Brilliante Mendoza.
Fan accounts dedicated to Coco and Julia have also been sharing behind-the-scenes pics from the film. We see Coco in costume as a policeman and Julia in a teacher’s uniform.
Who else is in the cast?
According to PEP, the movie will also star Raymart Santiago, Lotlot de Leon, and Alan Paule. Earlier this month, JM De Guzman posted photos with Coco and Julia and his caption reads: ” Yes? Yes.” He added the hashtags #lawofattraction and #dream, which sparked rumors that he will be starring in a project with the two!
What other projects have Coco Martin and Julia Montes starred in?
The love team, also known as CocoJul, rose to fame when they starred in the teleseryes Walang Hanggan (2012) and Ikaw Lamang (2014). The pair last teamed up for a film in A Moment In Time, which was released in 2013. It told the story of Patrick (Coco) and Jillian (Julia), former lovers who find themselves reunited in Amsterdam.
