Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla showed a united front at the Asia Artist Awards 2023 despite their much-talked about breakup.

 

Both of them won the AAA Fabulous Award together with NewJeans, Stray Kids, and Lim Young Woong.

The two were seen standing next to each other while waiting on the left side of the stage to receive their trophies.

They were all smiles as they faced the massive audience at the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena.

As seen in the videos of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Kathryn and Daniel had no trouble making eye contact and even appeared to be cheering for each other as they took turns in accepting their awards.

Daniel was first called to give his acceptance speech, and he seemed thrilled to be recognized by the Asian award-giving body.

Looking dapper in his black suit, Daniel exclaimed: “Magandang gabi po sa inyong lahat. Annyeong!

“Ayun, siyempre, maraming-maraming salamat. Thank you sa AAA. Everyone, maraming salamat sa inyo.

“Enjoy the night and good night.”

Kathryn, who slayed in her stunning white gown, came next.

She confidently introduced herself before delivering her speech: “Hello, guys! I hope you’re having a great night.

“For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kathryn Bernardo and I’m a Filipina actress.

“Wow, what an honor to be recognized tonight with these beautiful and talented people.

“Thank you so much AAA for this Fabulous Award.”

Expressing her pride for the Philippines to be chosen as the host country for this big event, she continued, “It’s my first time attending this and nakaka-proud na bilang Pilipino, tayo yung nagho-host sa ganitong event.

“Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody who’s supporting Filipino-made TV series and as well as movies.

“Patapos na yung taon, but I feel so blessed and I’m sharing this award with all of you. Maraming-maraming salamat po.”

Kathryn and Daniel, who have been in a relationship for 11 years, confirmed on November 30, 2023, that they have broken up.

They are a much-loved love team in the country for 12 years.

Speculations are rife that the two broke up due to an alleged third party, but neither of them have spoken about the reason behind their split.

Just last night, December 13, the two made headlines for showing professionalism as they shared the stage for a production number for ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2023.

It was their first public appearance since their breakup.
