Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were both emotional during the premiere night of the highly-anticipated romance film Hello, Love, Again.
In an Instagram post by Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Kathryn and Alden were seen hugging each other and shedding a few tears after watching the film. This heartfelt interaction between them has sparked even more anticipation over the sequel’s much-awaited release.
The talent agency also posted photos of the two, looking teary-eyed as they watched their film together.
Meanwhile, Star Cinema and GMA Pictures shared photos of the Hello, Love, Again co-stars with director Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
“It feels great to see these 3 together again in the big screen and at the Red Carpet after 5 years,” it wrote.
During the premiere night, both stars expressed their heartwarming gratitude to everyone supporting the film.
“Maraming maraming salamat sa pagsama tonight, very special ‘to para sa ‘min lahat. Sabay-sabay tayong manood, isang tulog na lang (Thank you so much for being here tonight; this is very special for all of us. Let’s all watch together),” Kathryn said.
Alden continued: “Maraming salamat sa mga excited mapanood muli ang kwento ni Joy at Ethan, napakasaya namin (Thank you to everyone who is excited to see Joy and Ethan’s story again. We are so happy) and we’re very proud of this film. We’re very excited for you guys to see it.”
Hello, Love, Again is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster romance film Hello, Love, Goodbye, which follows the lives of Joy and Ethan as they cross paths and fall in love in Hong Kong. The 2019 film garnered a total revenue of P800 million, making it one of the highest-grossing Philippine films of all time.
The sequel picks up their relationship five years later, with Joy now working as a nurse in Canada.
The film is now showing in 500 cinemas nationwide and will soon be released in theaters worldwide.
Additionally, the film is set to be the official closing feature at the 10th Asian World Film Festival on November 20 at the Culver Theater in California, United States.
