On June 11, the National Costume competition took place within the framework of the Binibining Pilipinas – Miss Philippines 2024 contest. After the competition night, the organizing committee found the top 5 most beautiful costumes. The winning design will be announced at the Binibining Pilipinas 2024 final on July 7.
Design by contestant Myrea Caccam, representing Oriental Mindoro province. The dress was inspired by Lake Naujan, known for its tranquil waters and picturesque scenery. The dress was decorated with exquisite crystals and pearls.
Contestant Monica Acuno from Kalayaan, Laguna wore this outfit. The outfit paid homage to the hardworking farmers in her hometown by showcasing fresh fruits and vegetables arranged in a basket.
Contestant Joyce Anne Garduque representing Quezon City wore an elaborate costume made from various coconut products, highlighting the province’s abundant resources.
Contestant Zianah Famy’s costume, representing Cavite province, depicts the Kawayan festival held every December in Maragondon, Cavite.
The costume of contestant Myrna Esguerra, representing the province of Abra, was inspired by the epic heroine of the Tinguian people of Abra, with beauty, compassion, courage, strength and wisdom.
