Alden Richards Breaks His Silence on His Connection with Kathryn Bernardo: “What You See Is What You Get”!!!
Kapuso actor Alden Richards answered the question that has puzzled netizens about what the real score is between him and Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo.
The two have been trending topics in recent days because the actor attended Kathryn’s birthday party twice; first in Palawan and second at a surprise birthday party organized by the glam team and close friends of the girl. In addition, the two were seen enjoying each other’s company at the second celebration.
Because of this, their fans can’t help but wonder what’s really going on between them.
That’s why GMA reporter Nelson Canlas asked the actor this in an interview that aired last night, April 10, on 24 Oras .
This is the reason why he was invited to the actress’s birthday celebrations, which he then hosted.
“I was invited and of course , it was part of her post-birthday celebration with friends and family. It was fun. It was a fun experience and you can see how happy Kath is right now,” Alden said.
When it comes to the state of his closeness with Kath, the actor refused to elaborate further because he allegedly did not want to brag about this matter to the public.
“ It’s not always necessary to post things like that on social media . You know, sometimes the personal things that happen, it’s better to just keep it personal ,” said Alden.
However, Nelson refuted what Asia’s Multimedia Star allegedly whispered to him: “’What you see is what you get.’”
But the actor, who was already vocal about his desire to team up with Kathryn again if there is a sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye , is already a big fan .
“ I , of course. Hello, Love, Goodbye made history and that’s what those who watched it wanted, to have a part 2,” he said in an interview in December 2023.
“ I said , ‘Director Cathy [Garcia-Sampana], if you make a part 2, I will cancel all my schedules ,’” he added. But he said he is leaving this decision to Star Cinema, which is the film’s producer.
“But then again, that’s really up to Star Cinema because they are the producers and they own the rights [to] the movie,” the actor explained.
Currently, Alden is busy working on the period drama series Pulang Araw where he will be starring alongside Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, Barbie Forteza, and Dennis Trillo.
