ICYMI: Andrea Brillantes celebrated her 21st birthday on March 12, 2024, and of course, industry friends headed over to Instagram to greet her. One of them is her best friend, Kyle Echarri, who had the *sweetest* message for her and made us go heart eyes!

On Instagram, Kyle posted a series of Stories that featured him and Andrea. The first slide was a solo shot of her in a museum along with his birthday message for her.

“Happy birthday to this one,” he wrote. “Stay happy, stay beautiful.”

Kyle also included his hopes and dreams for Andrea—for her to always be happy and retain her ~*childhood*~ dreams.

“I hope you always keep that smile on your face and always keep those dreams you’ve had ever since we were kids.”

He also mentioned being proud of her growth, both as a person and in her career, and stated that he has always been proud of her, even during the years that they were “disconnected” for a time.

“You’re 21 now and I’m happy to say I’ve known you and seen you grow for the past 8 years of our lives. Kahit sa malayo pa yan.”

“Happy birthday Blythe,” he ended his post.

He also included a mirror selfie of them in a convenience store and thanked her for always making him smile. Aww, our KyDrea hearts!

Due to their closeness and ~*chemistry*~, netizens have always speculated on the true nature of their relationship. However, both Kyle and Andrea have stated that what they have is purely friendship.

They did, however, on separate occasions, stated that they would be open to exploring their relationship further in the future.

In a previous vlog by Andrea where she played “Date or Pass” with a couple of her friends, she noted that although she would pass on him for now, she is *open* to dating Kyle in the future.

“Pass for now. Pass for now kasi kakabalik lang namin sa isa’t isa. Yung buhay namin, mag-best friends pa lang kami. Pero siguro in the future, ewan ko, I would date him,” she noted.

Kyle also echoed the same sentiments in a recent interview with the press when he was asked if he would be open to dating Andrea.

“Maybe, you’ll never know. Hindi naman ako pwede humindi, hindi pwede umoo. You’ll never know what happens,” he answered. Ooh!

They might not be in a relationship RN, but they did roleplay as each other’s jowa for Andrea’s most recent vlog. Highlights include Kyle surprising Andrea with flowers after picking her up at home, a fun time in a museum where they took lots of couple pics, and Kyle kissing Andrea’s shoulder when she jokingly asked why he “wasn’t” asking her to be his girlfriend. KyDrea fans are truly well-fed!
