“[The] pitch came from them. It is something I really want to do. I never imagined it but I got so excited and happy. You will get it once you see it. It is something I have never done before,” the “High Street” actress said in an interview during her contract signing with the brand in Makati City, Tuesday afternoon.

“We have been eyeing Blythe for a long time. She is the embodiment of the new generation. Right now, we want Andrea to be an example to them about investing, being practical with life. Andrea will complete ‘Brillantes’ she is the missing piece in the line up,” the fine jewelry brand’s CEO and founder Drake Dustin explained.

According to Brillantes, the collaboration is part of her efforts in building a legacy beyond show business.

“What sparked my interest was becoming a CEO. I saw the business side of it. In the first year I was part of the creatives. I really wanted to be an actress but I don’t see myself as an actress for the rest of my life. It isn’t forever being an artist,” she explained.

The Kapamilya star, who was also granted over P2 million worth of shares in the growing Filipino jewelry company, said the partnership fulfills her long-held dream of owning investment pieces.

“In terms of jewelry, mahilig na ako. Before hindi ko pa afford, madami ako prinioritize before. Noong nakaluwag na, naka invest na ako for jewelry for myself. My lola mahilig talaga, she tells me to buy for myself someday,” she said.

“Growing up sa industry marami nakakaksama na veterans they say maganda na investment alahas. 10 years old pa lang, they tell me na. Aware na ako na investment siya,” she added.
