What if Nadine Lustre had been a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash just like James Reid way back in 2010?

Things could have turned out differently for the reel- and real-life couple now known as Jadine.

Nadine auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother in the same year as James. While Nadine did not become a housemate, James eventually emerged as the big winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash that aired from April to June 2010.

Her audition video for ABS-CBN’s reality show resurfaced when Nadine’s mother, Myraquel, reposted it on her Instagram account.

The young actress introduced herself by saying, “I’m Nadine, eldest po ako sa apat na magkakapatid. I have two brothers and a sister. Iyon dad ko po ay walang work, pero yung mom ko ay businesswoman. Pero wala po silang regular work.

“So, tinutulungan ko po sila para makapag-aral yung brothers ko.”

She disclosed that she was helping out her family by working as a commercial model and appearing on print ads.

Nadine’s mother also posted another throwback video showing her daughter performing with fellow Pop Girls members.

Nadine (the one wearing pink) can be seen sporting full bangs as she sang and danced to the tune of “Urong Sulong.”
