Andrea Brillantes practically grew up in the public eye.

From playing bit roles as the child actress Blythe Gorostiza, Andrea made her early start to stardom at age 10 by way of the title role in ABS-CBN’s 2013 remake of Annaliza, a 1980s soap opera headlined by the late Julie Vega.

Growing into teenhood, Andrea followed up her lead role in Annaliza with creditable performances in a number of movies and Kapamilya teleseryes.

In 2018, she showed precocious maturity in acting as Magda in the top-rating afternoon series Kadenang Ginto, which ran for two years.

FAMILY-ORIENTED, BUSINESS-MINDED

At an early age, and working, Andrea kept to her goals and dreams of providing the best life possible for her family.

And way back then, she already knew what she wanted—to start her own business.

She recalls, “Siguro, 13 pa lang ako or 12 kasi wala pa akong masyadong kayang magawa at the age of 12 para magkaroon ng sariling business noon, e.

“So, parang dream lang talaga siya. Tapos nagkaroon ako ng mga endorsements, naka-ipun-ipon naman na ako.”

In a few short years, Andrea made the right connections and one thing led to another.

She says, “Nagkaroon din ako ng collab with a make-up brand, nagkaroon ako ng line.”

Although Andrea was grateful for that opportunity, Andrea still yearned for something she could call her own: “Siyempre, gusto ko rin magkaroon ng sarili kong brand, e.”

She made it happen when she turned 18 on March 12, 2021.
