Andrea Brillantes is currently in her self-love era, months after her controversial breakup with basketball player Ricci Rivero. One of the ways she does this is by making her standards for future relationships known. In her recent guesting in Luis Manzano‘s interview vlog, Luis Listens, the 20-year-old actress got candid about her standards for her *future* boyfriend.

“I don’t want a boy, I want a man,” Andrea declared.

According to her, a “real” man is someone who knows how to settle and won’t cheat and lie to her.

“A real man, I believe they know how to settle. Alam nila kung paano makuntento sa isa at isa lang talaga. Gusto ko ng ‘one woman man.’ Dapat hindi ka cheater, dapat hindi ka liar,” she explained.

She continued: “Ang totoong lalaki for me, hindi yan nagsisinungaling talaga. Alam nila kung paano aminin yung katotohanan nang buong-buo. Hindi yung ang dami pang pasikotsikot na ooaaminpero hindi lahat.”

“I don’t want a boy, I want a man. That’s what I need. I need a man,” Andrea emphasized. Hear, hear!

On June 2023, Ricci confirmed his breakup with Andrea via a statement on X (formerly Twitter). Since then, he has gone public with his relationship with beauty queen and public servant, Leren Bautista.

Andrea, on the other hand, has been keeping herself busy with her role as Sky Love Cruz and Luna Amore Cruz on the iWantTFC series, Senior High.
