In case you haven’t noticed, on-screen and real-life couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid have been working on separate *gasps* projects recently. James is starring in Miss Granny and Nadine has started shooting for her new film called Ulan.

Nadine Lustre Opens Up About Her Breakup With James Reid

The cast of Ulan includes Nadine, Xian Lim, Marco Gumabao, and AJ Muhlach and will be directed by Irene Villamor (she also directed Sid & Aya and Camp Sawi). The film reportedly focuses on self-acceptance and self-love and marks the first time in a while where JaDine wouldn’t be working on the same project. Their most recent film, Never Not Love You, was shown in March.

Through an Instagram post in June, writer and director Irene Villamor revealed that the script was first written in 2005 and has gone through multiple revisions over the years. “Kada umuulan, nagre-revise ako nitong script na nagsimula sa isang maikling kwento sinulat ko maraming taon na ang nakaraan.”
