Although Andrea Brillantes has previously confirmed that she’s on good terms with her ex-boyfriend Seth Fedelin, she doesn’t see herself working with him again in the near future.
“It’s too complicated na as of the moment. For me, hindi lang naman kami ‘yung nasaktan, pati ‘yung mga fans namin,” Andrea shared in a press conference for their upcoming series Lyric and Beat.
“Lalo na ngayon na meron nang FranSeth, I don’t know if magiging healthy pa talaga ‘yung relationship ng Gold Squad, Squadmates, FranSeth, Francine fans, fans ko, kung nagpapalit-palitan kami. As a fangirl, ako rin malilito na talaga ako na, ano ba talaga? Ako po ‘yung minsan naaawa na rin for our fans,” she explained.
Andrea also mentioned that it would be better for Seth to focus on his next movie with Francine Diaz. “If magkakaroon po ngayon, parang huwag po muna siguro dahil meron nang project si Seth with another girl. Para hindi na po talaga maging magulo ‘yung life,” she said.
Andrea and Seth further explained that if ever they do work together again in the future, they would no longer be on-screen partners. “[Lyric and Beat] po siguro ‘yung last project namin ngayon. Wala naman sa kakayanan namin na bigyan kami o hindi, pero kung bibigyan kami ng choice namin, ito muna. Bilog naman ‘yung mundo, pwedeng magkatrabaho pa ulit kami pero wala lang talaga siguro ngayon,” Andrea said.
“Hindi naman ibig sabihin na hindi na kami magtatrabaho, talagang bawal na bawal na talaga [at] ayaw namin. Mas naiisip lang namin ‘yung napapanahon, kung anong akma sa panahon,” Seth clarified. “Siguro after ilang years ‘pag malalaki na kami may gawin kaming project hindi man as SethDrea, pero magkasama kami sa isang project. Kasi ang liit lang ng mundo na ginagalawan namin.”
They also reassured fans that SethDrea will continue to live on as long as they keep believing in the tandem. “Ayoko kasing i-crush ‘yung heart [ng fans]. Of course, iba talaga ‘pag in-idolize mo ‘yung isang bagay tapos biglang mawawala. For me, if we still live sa hearts ng SethDrea [fans], then meron pa rin talagang SethDrea,” said Andrea.
“Walang sagot na wala nang SethDrea. Walang tanong din na ganoon,” Seth agreed. “Tama ‘yung sinabi [ni Andrea], nakadepende ‘yun sa tao.”
