Here’s a rundown of Yassi’s short but fruitful dating history:

1. Sef Cadayona (2013)

It has been ages but ICYDK, Yassi, and comedian Sef Cadayona dated. It was in 2013 when the two developed their feelings as co-stars in the movie Kaleidoscope World. It was also in 2013 when the ex-couple confirmed their breakup.

Speculations of a third party causing their separation arose when Yassi admitted getting jealous of Andrea Torres back then. Sef and Andrea happened to be co-stars of the longest-running gag show on national TV, Bubble Gang before.

In an interview with PEP.ph,  Yassi admitted that jealousy played a part in their relationship but later clarified that career focus is the sole cause for their breakup. “Selos lang talaga, pero wala naman daw talaga sila. Hmmm, si Andrea Torres po […] Napag-usapan namin na maghiwalay muna kami, tapos mag-focus sa work.”

Meanwhile, Sef refuted Yassi’s statement that there was another woman that caused their fall-out. “Kung ‘yun ‘yung gusto niyang sabihin, e, ‘di okay, God bless. Pero as far as I’m concerned, nung naghiwalay kami, alam naman ng lahat na maayos, kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit ganun,” Sef told PEP.ph in 2015.

It was only in 2016 when Yassi publicly declared that she had already moved on from her past relationship with Sef.

2. Coco Martin (2019-2021)

For five years, Yassi portrayed Alyana in one of the longest-running primetime teleserye in Philippine television, Ang Probinsyano. The show was top-billed by Coco Martin, and it was Yassi’s first big project with ABS-CBN.

Along the way, Coco was rumored to be linked to Yassi. She was even suspected as a “third party” between Coco and Julia Montes‘ then-brewing romance. All of which, the actress strongly denied in a series of media interviews.

“Hindi po ako kasali doon (sa hiwalayan). Sila na lang ang tanungin niyo. […] Wala naman akong ikaka-guilty, kaya kapag meron akong naririnig tapos hindi naman totoo, okay lang,” Yassi told the media in 2019.

In 2021, Yassi bid goodbye to her role as Alyana in Ang Probinsyano. Her removal from the show triggered the curiosity of the public as they asked for the real reason she was replaced.

Amid all the speculations from the public, Yassi stated that the reason for her leaving the show is that there was a conflict in her schedule with her other projects.

Following her Ang Probinsyano stint, the actress was handpicked by British producers of the game show Rolling In It. “That happened din po kasi because of schedule. Dahil mahirap na rin po ituloy yung lock-in (taping) kaya po sobrang thankful ako sa Dreamscape [Ang Probinsyano producer], sa ABS-CBN, all of my bosses, especially kay Coco [Martin] na gumawa ng script at nangako siyang magkakaroon ng magandang exit si Alyana,” the actress said in 2021.

3. Jon Semira (2022-2023)

Jon Semira and Yassi announced their relationship in July 2022. This was her first public relationship after Sef. (She and Sef dated until 2013.)

In an interview with Magandang Buhay, uploaded in March 2023, Yassi shared that she met Jon in Canada through their common friends. She also revealed that he moved to the Philippines for her and that her heart is happy with him.

Sadly, in August 2023, the two confirmed their split through a sincere message posted by Jon via Instagram on August 16. They denied claims that a third party was the reason for their breakup.

Meanwhile, a video of their supposed happy engagement made rounds on social media. The two have been silent about the viral video as of writing.

4. Sandro Marcos (2023)

Before the news about Yassi and Jon’s breakup was officially announced, the actress has been trending on the internet. She was linked to the Philippine president’s son and Congressman Sandro Marcos. A video of them allegedly having fun together at an event went viral on TikTok.

In an interview with GMA’s 24 Oras on August 16, 2023, Yassi directly shut down the rumors. “Yung nakikita ko po yung kay Sandro, hindi po ‘yon totoo at all. As in tawang-tawa nga po kami,” she said.

5. Luigi Villafuerte (2023-2024)

During the same time that Yassi was linked to Sandro, another dating rumor surfaced. This time, it was with Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte.

A series of photos circulated online where Yassi and the politician were together—with Luigi’s hands placed on Yassi’s legs.

By 2024, Yassi and Luigi went all out with their relationship. In February 2024, Luigi called Yassi the love of his life. “I truly believe pag inspired, lahat possible. Kaya I want to thank the love of my life for supporting this event. Babe, maraming-maraming salamat. Thank you, I love you so much,” the governor uttered in a video uploaded by Yassi. The video showed Luigi speaking in front of a crowd while telling sweet words to his S.O.

A few months later, the couple went viral for their passionate kiss done at a public event, that Luigi attended as a governor. It was during the Kaogma Festival that Yassi was invited as a guest performer. In the middle of her performance, Luigi joins her onstage, and together they spread some “kilig vibes” by looking at each other’s eyes while singing and hugging, and then, the viral kiss happened.
