Joshua Garcia shrugged off the recent issue linking him to a woman on social media. The young actor allegedly exchanged private messages with Twitter user @danerhea, who uploaded a screenshot of an Instagram DM from @garciajoshuae—the same IG handle identified as Joshua’s official account.

In her tweet, she wrote, “UHMMM WAIT LANG. Yes, Joshua? Bakit???” @garciajoshuae DM-ed the words “Art photo” to a picture the user posted of her at the beach.

“I will be here for you and I will protect you.”

In an image published by gossip site, Fashion Pulis, user @cher198 shared screenshots of an exchange of private message over Facebook which an unverified Joshua Garcia account was making plans to meet with an unidentified user.

In an interview with PEP.ph, The Good Son star neither denied nor confirmed the allegations but said he wants to focus on work rather than paying attention to the issue. He said, “Sobrang dami nang nangyayari sa social media ngayon, kaya focus na lang ako sa trabaho. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin sa lahat ng ginagawa ko.”
