In an Instagram post, Min Bernardo pens a heartfelt message for Kathryn Bernardo after her Rising Star award in the US.

Kapamilya superstar Kathryn Bernardo was named Snow Leopard Rising Star at this year’s Asian World Film Festival (AWFF). In a press release, AWFF said that the actress has established herself as one of the Philippines’ “most bankable and beloved performers.”

She received the award during the Closing Night Awards Gala held at the Culver Theater in California and in the same event, Alden Richards was also present. He was there for the “Hello, Love, Again” screening which was the closing film for the event.

Following the award, the sequel to “Hello, Love, Goodbye” became the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time. Indeed, this year is the year for Kathryn. Their movie earned Php 930 million in worldwide box office just 10 days after its release.

It is showing in 1,100 cinemas worldwide which includes Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

With all these victories Kathryn has, her mother, the one who has always been with her ever since the beginning of her career, is also the same person who is the proudest and happiest for her.

On Instagram, Min Bernardo penned a message for the actress after her big win at the 10th Asian World Film Festival.

“Sobrang proud ako at ang buong pamilya natin sa lahat ng blessings na natatanggap mo at ng buong #HelloLoveAgain, anak!” she posted.

Min added: “Congratulations for receiving the Snow Leopard Rising Star Award at the 10th Asian World Film Festival! Love you! ❤️”

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera reacted to KathDen’s movie previously and she congratulated them. The response the movie received from the public is an indication to the actors that the local film industry is not dying. The industry is alive and the figures don’t lie.
