Kathryn Bernardo says 2020 is off to a good start.
Kathryn Bernardo is determined to become more independent this year.
She says, “I have to work on that. Iyan ang promise ko this year… more of my independence.
“Ewan ko, grabe lang nangyari sa 2019. I’m so blessed. At simula pa lang ng 2020, sobrang daming blessings, so grabe. Grabe lang.
“It’s overwhelming. Puro pagsasalamat lang… It’s a good start.”
Speaking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and a small group of press people at the recent Rice in a Box event in Conrad Manila, Kathryn includes on her list of blessings a teleserye and a movie project she is set to do with her reel- and real-life partner Daniel Padilla.
The 23-year-old ABS-CBN actress also launched her own YouTube channel on the first week of January.
The channel now has over 1.27 million subscribers
Last year, Kathryn’s main goal was to work on her “personal growth.”
During a Facebook Live session for an endorsement in March 2019, Kathryn tagged 2019 as “the most challenging year.”
Answering a fan question about her goals for 2019, Kathryn said: “At the end of this year, gusto ko ma-achieve yung growth ko siguro individually, sa amin ni DJ, alam mo yun?
“Kasi for the longest time, kami yung magkasama, and this year yung pinakamalaking challenge for me and sa kanya, kasi, alam mo yun?
“Magkahiwalay muna kami as a love team. Iyan ang gusto namin ma-achieve, para by the time na magka-reunion project kami, we are both ready individually.
“And, ewan ko, feeling ko mas buo kami.”
DJ is Daniel’s nickname.
Kathryn will be turning 24 this year on March 26.
