What we know so far

On October 13, Catherine’s sister Chin-Chin Camilon took to Facebook to ask for help from her sister’s colleagues at work about her whereabouts.

Chin-Chin noted that the last time she talked to her was at 8 p.m. on Thursday. Her phone had been turned off since then.

“Hindi din po nag-o-online, palagi po [siya nag-u-update] sa amin, ngayon lang po talaga hindi,” she posted.

These details were confirmed by their mother Rose Camilon, who said in a radio interview that Catherine went to Batangas City for a supposed meeting with a company where she served as a “talent.”

This company was not identified in reports about this incident.

Rose also said that the family’s last call with Catherine was on Thursday, which was the day she left.

The model still kept in touch with her around 3:30 a.m. on Friday. There were no updates from her since then.

The matriarch also expressed that she felt her daughter was going through something despite not opening up about it.

ABS-CBN News later reported that Catherine was seen on CCTV walking inside a mall in Lemergy, Batangas. This was taken hours after her family had lost all contact with her.
