Nadine Lustre has shut down another online basher for making a negative comment about the actress’ skin which the netizen said looked “dry” and dirty.

In a Twitter post on October 23, Nadine posted, “I find it so weird when people say I’ve changed and I look older.”

The actress added, “What? Were you expecting me to be the same person when I was 21? I’m turning 29 next week.”

The netizen in question responded to Nadine’s tweet by writing, “Gurl, ang dumi at dry kasi ng balat mo kaya mukha kang matanda.”

Nadine put the netizen in his/her place and responded, “At least ‘di kasing dumi ng ugali mo.”

Nadine is no stranger to online bashing and has responded to several negative comments made about her in the past. She has previously shut down pregnancy rumors and she also had something ~powerful~ to say against body shamers.

Talking to Edward Barber in September 2021, Nadine opened up about the ridiculous expectations that come with fame. Nadine pointed out that it’s not a celebrity’s job to please everyone, especially outside of work, and said, “I think it’s also because people forget that we are also people, that we’re humans. That it’s not our responsibility to acknowledge everyone and please everyone… Our responsibility is to give entertainment and that’s not a part of it.”
