And so when Nadine showed up to her recent “Aivee Day” braless, rocking a chic top while enjoying her beauty treatments, the debate around women going braless resumed. One Internet user noted that going braless is not something to be done in the Philippines. “Ok lang wala bra pero di ba may nipple tape? […] Minsan ksp eeehh. Wala tayo sa Europe, US, Australia, Nadine.”

Some disapproved of women skipping the whole bra thing for safety reasons. They said that doing something unconventional like all sorts of naked dressing—trendy silhouette tops or braless ‘fits—may be prone to catcalling and getting unsolicited reactions from random people. That’s especially true if you’re someone commuting along the roads of Manila.

“It’s ok not to wear bra depende sa lugar na puntahan mo. If you’re an ordinary people lakad ka ng ganyan sa kalye baka lang mabastos ka,” one commenter said. Another expressed, “I did that too and masarap ang feeling ng braless but of course dito karamihan pa din close-minded.”

For others though, going braless might be a far-fetched dream because of how blessed they are with their boobies. But as the girlies know, having huge breasts isn’t always an advantage for most women who have them.

Someone commented, “Gusto ko rin mag-braless kaso laki eded ko huhu. I super envy you @nadine.” NGL, if cup D and above ladies could go braless without any judgment from people, we’d do it every day…
