ICYMI, the internet was *on fire* after James Reid and Issa Pressman posted pics showing they attended Harry Styles‘ Love On Tour concert together. In one of their photos, the two are seen holding hands, making them the most recent couple to hard-launch their relationship on Insta.

The Careless Music stars were initially rumored to be dating in January 2020, after news broke about JaDine no longer being together. The couple had issued a joint statement  confirming their breakup during the January 20 airing of Tonight With Boy Abunda.

Issa was even accused by netizens of being the third party in JaDine’s split—however, this was quickly shut down by Issa’ sister Yassi Pressman, James, and Issa herself via separate statements between January 22-24, 2020.

Under Yassi’s Instagram post, James wrote: “Sorry you girls got dragged into this. There are some messed up people out there.”

Nadine also commented on Yassi’s post and tagged both sisters, saying, “Love you both @yassipressman @pressmanisa.”

Yet despite the fact that their names are spelled differently, a number of people online somehow mistook actress Iza Calzado for Issa. On January 21, 2020, Iza took to Instagram Stories to share her amused reaction regarding the whole mix-up. “People of the Philippines, anong kaguluhan ito???” Iza wrote. “Hahaha! May asawa na ako! Lord!”

In another Instagram story, Iza wrote, “But wait, there’s more! Does this mean pasok pa ako sa early 20s market? May asim pa ba si Tita Iza? Wrong account, though! Hahaha!” The actress did make it clear that she was upset over the breakup news, though. “Pero seryoso, guys, sad ako [na] nag-break ang #JaDine.”

Now, a clip from an old Facebook Live interview that aired in April 2020 is making the rounds on social media. Tim Yap hosted a space with Iza, Nadine, and Divine Lee to talk about “life, love and lockdown.”

During the livestream, Iza took the time to clear her name in regards to the JaDine breakup controversy by directly “apologizing” to Nadine. “Bago tayo magseryoso ha, may gusto ko lang i-address dito. Klaro ko lang ha?  Let’s just get the elephant in the room out of the way. Nadine, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for stealing James. Char!”

Nadine laughed it off and said, “Wrong Issa, wrong Issa!” She quickly followed it up with, “Let’s let that issue…well, that shouldn’t even be an issue. That was so weird.” Apparently, Divine can relate to being mistaken for someone else—in her case, “inaway ako…dahil si Mommy Divine! Tigil-tigilan ko na daw ‘yon, matanda na daw si Sarah [Geronimo].” LOL!
