We are officially living in a Barbie world with celebs dolling up in the sweetest shades of pink left and right. The latest local star to serve their own take on Barbiecore was Andrea Brillantes, who graced the 2022 Awit Awards last night, November 23.

Dressed by her dutiful stylist Eldzs Mejia, Andrea was a vision in hot pink. She donned a custom-made Lauren Vito mini dress that had a jutted-out skirt and crystal appliques all over. The design was undeniably reminiscent of pieces from Valentino‘s Fall 2022 collection, which virtually gave birth to the Barbiecore trend.
Keeping things monochromatic in the same pink tone popularized by Pierpaolo Piccioli, Andrea wore the frock with platform heels, stockings, and opera gloves all from the Italian luxury house. Lastly, adding even more shimmer was a dramatic pair of chandelier earrings.
To lock in the saccharine vibes, makeup artist Marben Talanay carried on the sweet hues to the actress’ eyeshadow and lips. Aries Manal then did up her locks in a slicked-back high ponytail that Ariana Grande would certainly approve of. Love, love, love!
