Rosé of BLACKPINK has a hilarious reaction to Andrea Brillantes’ and Ricci Rivero’s breakup.

Andrea joined Rosé’s recent Instagram Live session, writing in the chat section, “My fave memory was when you noticed me for my promposal,” in all caps.

To recall, during BLACKPINK’s concert in the Philippines, Andrea asked Ricci to attend a ball with her through a poster, which was noticed by the group members. Rosé had told Ricci, “Please go to prom with that girl.” Ricci said yes.

During the Live, Rosé noticed Andrea’s comment and said in her that she remembered that moment.

However, Andrea followed this up with comments that said, “OMG OMG yes that’s me,” and “We broke up now.”

Rosé’s jaw dropped when she saw these. “Broke up now? No,” she said before laughing. “I’ll pretend I didn’t see that.”

Andrea also couldn’t stop laughing when she shared the clip on Twitter.

BLINKs think that this is part of the dubbed “Rosé Curse,” wherein after the idol takes a photo or interacts with a celebrity, their relationship will end after some time.

BLACKPINK, composed of Jennie, Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa, debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016 with “Boombayah” and “Whistle.” They celebrated their seventh debut anniversary on Tuesday.

Early this year, the girl group headlined Coachella and had a two-night concert at the Philippine Arena.

Meanwhile, Ricci announced his breakup with Andrea on Twitter and shared the reasons in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

He shut down speculations that former beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista was the cause of their split. He also said that he did not treat Andrea as a trophy girlfriend and did not use her to become popular.

Sabrina Carpenter was also able to talk to Andrea about the breakup during her Manila concert.
