It seems like there is no more bad blood between Francine Diaz and Andrea Brillantes. In a recent interview with Kapamilya Kingdom, the 19-year-old actress admitted that they are professionals, so working together in the now-defunct noontime variety show, It’s Your Lucky Day, wasn’t a problem.
“I mean, after all, we’re professionals naman po, and ang trabaho ay trabaho… pero kung sasabihin po kung bumalik [na yung friendship, hindi pa talaga],” Francine answered in response to the interviewers asking if the friendship of the members of the Gold Squad (particularly Francine and Andrea’s) has been *rekindled*.
Francine clarified: “I mean, okay naman po kami. Hindi super friends like before, but very civil.”
ICYDK, both Francine and Andrea were members of the friendship group The Gold Squad in the past, along with fellow Gen Z celebs Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri. In January 2022, rumors of an *alleged* feud due to an apparent love triangle between Francine, Andrea, and Seth swirled around the internet. Andrea also supposedly confronted Francine in a dressing room. Eep.
While Andrea and Francine have still yet to follow each other on Instagram, it looks like the dust has settled between them at least. Good for them!
