IN the collab of the century, film producers Mentorque Productions and Project 8 Projects have recently posted to social media the cast list for their upcoming horror movie, “Uninvited”.
Included in this list are beloved actors Aga Muhlach, Vilma Santos-Recto, and Nadine Lustre.
Other names featured on the list were as follows:

This film is set be directed by Dan Villegas, who is known for films like “Hintayan ng Langit”, “Always Be My Maybe”, “Exes Baggage”, “Changing Partners”, “and “English Only, Please”.
One of the producers of the film is Antoinette Jadaone, who directed films like “That Thing Called Tadhana”, “Fangirl”, “Never Not Love You”, and “Alone/Together”.
In an interview with Jadaone, she said that she was overwhelmed, amazed, and starstruck with the project. How could one not be given its star-studded cast?
Little has been revealed about this movie, but some members of the cast and crew have been posting sneak peeks of the filming process thus far.
Recently, for example, Mentorque shared to their Instagram a clip of Vilma Santos-Recto with the caption: “ATE VI FIRST TIME MAKATRABAHO ANG ISANG ROBOT.”
Netizen reactions
Since the reveal of the film’s cast and crew, many are excited for “Uninvited” given that both its actors and its production team are known to be powerhouses in the Filipino film industry.
One user on Facebook wrote: “They should include this [in] the MMFF lineup! This cast has a combined 16 Urian trophies from 47 nominations and 11 FAMAS trophies from 46 nominations.”
“Wow, kasama ang box office queen Nadine Lustre ng 2022 MMFF Top Grosser ‘Deleter’,” wrote another.
“Sigurado na box office hit yan.”
While no other details on the film have since been released, such as the plot of the movie or its release date in cinemas, Filipinos are excited to see all these actors bring their characters to life on the big screen.
The film has also been rumored to be vying for a spot in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024, so that’s definitely something to look forward to.
