Julia Barretto To Joshua Garcia: ‘I will always be cheering for you from afar’
Julia Barretto says she is happy for all the success that her ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia has been achieving.
In an interview with PEP.ph during the press conference for the iWant digital series
“I’m very happy as well, like me, na nakakapag-explore din siya at nakakapagtrabaho siya with different leading ladies,” said Julia.
New Year, new hair!
“During the duration of our partnership, that’s what we also talk about,” she added. “We are very open also of our individual projects kasi noong love team pa kami noon, mayroon kaming mga individual projects.”
“We always collaborate and talk about it. We’re excited for each other, and up to this day, I always tell him na ‘I will always be your cheerleader. I will always be cheering for you from afar.'”
“Wherever he is in his career now, I’m really proud of him because I’ve seen his growth, I was there to witness the beginning of all that, so I’m very proud.”
Julia and Joshua last worked together on the zombie movie Block Z.
Also starring in I Am U, a story about doppelgangers, is Tony Labrusca.
In February, ABS-CBN announced that Julia is set to star in a new teleserye in 2020. Reports also showed that the same creative team of the new series met up with Tony, sparking rumors that he might also be her newest leading man for the project.
