Kapuso star Barbie Forteza refuses to claim the title “Primetime Princess” even after her successful high-rating GMA Telebabad shows That’s My Amboy (2016) and Meant To Be (2017) aired. Her current Primetime series Inday Will Always Love You remains unbeatable in its time slot for three months now.

“I’m not claiming anything, but I’m very happy kung iyon ang tawag nila sa akin. Lahat naman tayo nagtatrabaho para ma-acknowledge [o] ma-recognize. Kung deserve ko man [ang title], maraming salamat. Kung kunin ng iba, okay lang din, walang problema,” saad ng Kapuso leading lady sa panayam ng GMANetwork.com sa pocket press con ng Inday Will Always Love You Season 2 kaninang hapon, August 16.

Matatandaang si Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera ang nagbansag sa young actress, “Si Ate Yan ang ate ng lahat, ang ate ng young stars ngayon kaya nakakatuwa. Sa dami ng kanyang kapatid na babae rito sa GMA, ako ‘yung naisip niya. Nagpapasalamat ako kasi talagang it’s an honor na ma-recognize ng Primetime Queen bilang Primetime Princess.”

Kung kay Barbie, nasa exploration stage pa rin daw siya sa kanyang career at wala pa doon sa pagtanggap ng titulo. Ginagalingan daw ng aktres ang kanyang trabaho, hindi para magkaroon ng titulo pero para maging mahusay sa kanyang napiling propesyon, “Everything I do, I do it for myself. It is to prove myself to myself. I always want to be better than my previous projects.”

Gayunpaman, nagpapasalamat ang award-winning actress sa pagkilala sa kanya, “Nakakatuwa kasi in my eight years in showbiz, natatawag na akong Primetime Princess which is a very big title to own.”

“I’m very happy with what’s happening with my TV career right now, and with or without title, masaya ako dahil ‘pag Barbie Forteza, they don’t treat me just a teen star, they treat me as a young actress,” pagtatapos ng dalaga.
