Fans of the KyleDrea love team (Andrea Brillantes and Kyle Echarri) got a surprise treat recently.

It all unfolded on August 30, during the thrilling FIBA Basketball World cup 2023 match between Greece and New Zealand when Andrea and Kyle found themselves seated side by side, setting the stage for a highly anticipated kiss cam moment.

For those who are unfamiliar of this concept, kiss cams are a type of social gimmick that often takes place during sporting events, when cameras zero in on couples in the audience, putting them on the spot to share a kiss of any kind.

As luck would have it, the spotlight of the kiss cam fell squarely on these two young Kapamilya talents, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement.

Shying away from the unexpected event, Andrea posed a finger heart instead, while Kyle gestured to the camera operator to shift focus to the couple beside them—Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

However, whoever was manning the kiss cam remained persistent and continued to zero in on Kyle and Andrea, drawing more cheers from the crowd.

To avoid letting down anyone down, Kyle gently planted a kiss on Andrea’s head.

While it wasn’t exactly the kiss everyone expected, it was a much-cherished gesture between the two close friends.

Among these is Team KyleDrea, which started during their Kadenang Ginto days and seems to be getting its second wind as they star in the 2023 coming-of-age TV series Senior High.

In a YouTube vlog with Kyle on August 6, 2023, the beauty mogul explained that they are currently picking up the pieces after a fallout.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin na I’m happy na you are back into my life again,” Andrea conveyed.

“Nagkaroon kasi kami ng konting disconnection ni Kyle. Pero masaya ako na nandito na ulit yung best friend ko.”

Weeks later, in a separate vlog with her girl friends, Andrea revealed that she is open to dating Kyle in the future, if it feels right.
