Case in point: Andrea Brillantes. Actress, entrepreneur, and style icon, the 21-year-old has shown out for her favorite celebrities as well the same way her fans do for her. Bejeweled…in Fries

While other stars shimmered in their outfits for the Eras Tour, Andrea went to the concert in a one-of-a-kind outfit: a bucket of fries made by Neric Beltran and a bejeweled burger bag by Judith Leiber. When it comes to costumes, Andrea Brillantes never fails to impress—Eras Tour not excluded. This was a tribute to Taylor’s ensemble from her “You Need To Calm Down” music video. As a certified Swiftie, it’s not surprising that the actress flew to Tokyo to see the one and only Miss Americana.

From Star to Another Star

Andrea managed to do what seemed to be impossible—spilling the tea to none other than the BLACKPINK members. At their Manila concert in 2023, Andrea sought the help of the K-pop girl group to invite then-boyfriend athlete Ricci Rivero to the Star Magic prom. During the show’s “ment” in K-pop parlance, this is the part of the concert where artists interact with fans, main vocalist Rosé spotted Andrea’s “promposal” and read it out loud. Fans exploded into cheers, while Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa expressed their support for the couple.

But in August of that same year, Rosé went live and Andrea was once again noticed by the international singer when she wrote in the chat section, “My fave memory was when you noticed me for my promposal.” Rosé confirmed she remembered that moment. However, Andrea followed this up with, “OMG OMG yes that’s me,” and “We broke up now.” BLACKPINK’s main vocalist was surprised, and then laughed it off: “Broke up now? No! I’ll pretend I didn’t see that.”

A similar thing happened with pop star princess Sabrina Carpenter, who spotted Andrea Brillantes during her Manila concert last July 2023. Footage from the concert showed the Espresso singer asking the crowd, “Why is she mad?” before lending the actress the microphone. The actress then briefly talked about her career and love life, stating that there were people who have “ruined my reputation in a way, even though they’re not true.” She also added that Sabrina Carpenter’s songs have helped her a lot. When the crowd chanted that the actress was referring to a previous relationship, the singer then quipped, “Oh, it’s a guy? It’s always a guy. Say, what? You all know this guy?”

Andrea later shared that she was starstruck and nervous during her interaction with the American artist.

Here Comes the Bride Moment

Kim Soo Hyun, the Queen of Tears actor, saw how beloved he was in the country when he brought his 2024 Asian Tour “EYES ON YOU” to Manila last July. Andrea Brillantes was ecstatic to be a part of the audience, saying “happy to have finally seen Kim Soo Hyun because I’ve been following him since I was thirteen, and he has been my number one Korean crush ever since.” The star also shared how she was emotional the day of the show because she couldn’t find her tickets, and thought she would be missing out on this moment.

Her stylist, Cath Sobrevega, called the fan meeting “Blythe’s special day.” Though a last minute decision, Andrea was grateful to have attended the show in white—because coincidentally, Kim Soo Hyun was also in white.

A Little Star Touch with KATSEYE

HYBE and Geffen’s global girl group just concluded their Asian tour with a stop in the Philippines; they held a showcase at Market! Market! where 9,000 fans showed up and sang along to songs from their debut EP, Soft is Strong. And, as a public figure herself, it’s not often that Andrea Brillantes gets nervous, but when she does, it’s when she’s dancing alongside KATSEYE members Manon and Sophia. The latter is a Filipina herself, and she commented on Andrea’s video, “Oh yeah, that’s my girl now.”
