The basketball star admits that he misses his son Bimby, hence he will not make matters worse

18 Oct – James Yap has taken the position of silence when it comes to the latest issue regarding his ex-wife Kris Aquino and their son Bimby.

As reported on Sunstar News, the basketball player, who was criticised recently for failing to tell his son Bimby about the birth of the latter’s half-brother MJ, stated that he would rather not know the details of what Aquino previously said about him regarding Bimby, and stressed that his ex-wife knows the truth.

Yap stated that he has already responded to the matter, has nothing further to add, and that he will wait for Bimby to make that decision.

“I can’t elaborate much because I would like the siblings to be okay and close to each other and everything,” he added.

Yap also admitted that the situation is difficult for him, and that he misses his nine-year-old son very much.

Previously, Aquino admitted to the media that Yap has failed to personally discuss about his new son with Bimby, adding that her son only found out about it via Facebook.

“I am not disparaging them because that was their choice. I want them also to be happy and peaceful because when there’s peace and happiness in the other side, there’s peace and happiness in your home. I am just devastated because my son deserved to find out,” Aquino said.
