It seems like all is well for Kapamilya actress and It’s Showtime host Karylle as she poked fun at the possibility of meeting her ex-boyfriend on the show.

Since the noontime show’s new segment began, the Showtime hosts have been teasing their fellow hosts about their past relationships. On its December 4, 2023 episode, Karylle was the pick of the week.

“Kung may celebrity edition dito, sasali ka?” Vhong Navarro asked Karylle.

It’s Showtime has a new segment called, “EXpecially For You.” The segment allows former partners to meet again while the other finds a potentially new partner during the show.

“Sa lahat si Karylle ‘yung masarap asarin sa ganyan,” Vice Ganda commented.

Then, Karylle herself said in a jest, “At dahil diyan madlang pipol, please welcome…” It was as if her celebrity ex would be having a guest appearance on the show. Her fellow hosts laughed hard at her comedic remark on her past love life.

Vice even supported her remark and asked, “Pero okay lang sila mag-promote dito?”

No names were mentioned during the show. But ICYDK, Dingdong Dantes was one of Karylle’s ex-boyfriends. They dated for three years before calling it quits. Their breakup was rumored to have been caused by a third party, which Dingdong denied at the time of their breakup. Eventually, Dingdong and Marian went public about their relationship, and are now happily married.

“Basta magkaiba ang priorities namin we did try hard to iron things out and save our relationship,” the Kapuso actor said in 2008 interview.

Kapuso A-listers Dingdong and his wife, Marian Rivera, are currently promoting their new film Rewind. It is the couple’s first-ever Star Cinema film, and since the time for network wars is over, Marian and Dingdong are set to promote their movie in Kapamilya shows.
