Kris Aquino on revealing how much she earns, pays for income tax: “It isn’t bragging–it is INSPIRING.”
Kris Aquino defends herself on accusation about being a braggart: “DO NOT LECTURE ME—because you haven’t had to survive every battle I have managed to stand strong fighting, regardless of how bruised, bloodied, and scarred.”
Noon pa man ay walang alinlangan si Kris Aquino sa pagsasabi kung magkano ang kanyang kinikita at binabayarang tax taun-taon.
Kaya naman hindi na nakakagulat kung minsan ay mabanggit niya ito sa kanyang social media posts.
Noong nakaraang linggo lang, sinabi ni Kris na nagdesisyon siyang huwag nang bigyang pansin ang kanyang haters dahil, “[I’m] just allowing my new multi million-peso & US $ contracts do the talking for me.”
Bago ito, ipinagmalaki rin ni Kris sa press conference ng pelikulang I Love You, Hater ang halaga ng kanyang suot na damit at mga alahas.
Kaugnay nito, isang netizen ang pinuna ang pagiging prangka ng TV host/actress/celebrity influencer tungkol sa kanyang mga kinikita at binabayarang tax.
Ayon sa Instagram user na si @bistamalda, pagyayabang umano ang ginagawa ni Kris.
Mensahe ng netizen, “I’ve been a supporter of you and your family kris I like your family for being down to earth people.
“Pero ikaw u keep on bragging you multi million contracts dun yata may mali.
“I’m just concerned abt y I don’t want people to laugh at you and hate bcoz u brag too much.”
Sinagot naman ito ni Kris.
Saad niya, “It isn’t bragging—it is INSPIRING.
“To all those who were written off, to all those who were told you’re gone & done, and to all those who feel that it is the end of the road—I AM LIVING PROOF that w/PRAYERS & PERSEVERANCE—YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.”
Dagdag na paliwanag pa niya, “I believe bragging is when you flaunt something you didn’t work hard for and selfishly hoard for yourself.
“BUT my creator knows how much of what I earn I share & give back to honor my faith.
“And I pay my 35% in taxes, and I am a generous employer.
“SO DO NOT LECTURE ME—because you haven’t had to survive every battle I have managed to stand strong fighting, regardless of how bruised, bloodied, and scarred.”
Dahil sa muling pagbanggit niya ng binabayarang tax, isa pang netizen ang pumuna kay Kris.
Sabi ng Instagram user na si @yam.v.nats, “You pay 35% of your taxes, bkt plgi mo nlang mention to, ikaw lang ba ang nag iisang filipino na nagbabayad ng gnyang kalaking tax? Madami kyo I guess.
