MANILA —  Kris Aquino revealed her new romance with a PH-based doctor, confirming that she has also parted ways with Mark Leviste.

Asked by Ogie Diaz about her mom’s love life, Bimby revealed that Kris is seeing someone new: “My mom’s heart is peaceful.”

“He’s a very good guy. Non-showbiz. Medyo makulit lang pero very good guy,” Bimby said of Kris’ new romance.

Kris then confirmed that she has parted ways with Leviste and detailed what went wrong with their relationship.

“Yes, definitely, walang balikan na mangyayari and … para lang malaman lang ng tao, nagkalabuan na magmula November. Sinubukang ayusin pero may mga nalaman ako na hindi ko gusto pero ayoko nang magsabi pa ng more than that kasi part of the reason why it didn’t work out is that I’m at that stage in my life na mas gusto ko nang tahimik,” Kris said.

“The last post I had was way back in May. I’ve kept quiet because mas matindi ‘yung treatment na pinagdaanan ko recently,” she added.

‘STILL FRIENDLY’

Kris also confirmed some misunderstandings with her children: “Siya (Bimby) at si Kuya (Josh) ‘yung opinion nila really matters. Most people would say na dapat ‘yung mga anak ang sumunod sa magulang pero sa akin kasi they’ll always be there and alam ko na ‘yung pagmamahal nila sa akin, it’s pure.”

“We’re still friendly pero at a distance na,” Aquino described of her status with Leviste.

Asked about her new romance, Kris said that the doctor is from Makati: “It just flowed. He’s a doctor. That’s part of the reason why it was easy kasi alam niya kung ano’ng pinagdadaanan ko.”

Kris is confident with the doctor noting how she could be possibly be back in the Philippines by the end of the year.

“He’s part of the reason why I’m confident na puwede akong umuwi kasi alam ko na there’s someone who will help in taking care of me,” Kris said.

“The reason siguro why I felt comfortable around him is because I feel na aalagaan niya ako and important ‘yun sa taong may nararamdaman na mahirap gamutin kasi you need someone na pwede mong sandalan,” she added.
