MANILA, Philippines — After unleashing revelations against basketball star James Yap over the weekend, returning Kapamilya star Kris Aquino posted on social media her dismay over Korina Sanchez’s show “Rated K” that featured Kris’s former husband.

In posts on her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, Kris said she had enough.

In an Instagram post backed by Whitney Houston’s song “Try It on My Own,” Kris explained what compelled her to come up with a series of posts against Korina and James.

“My anger comes from the heart of a mother who has been unnecessarily stepped on by someone who has been blessed w/ a loving & devoted husband & does not know the hardship of having to go it alone,” Kris said, pertaining to Korina.

“I know I’ve unleashed a double edged sword. I know i’ve made enemies, and i’ve also found kindred spirits in MOTHERS who like me have felt that they have had ENOUGH & they had to take a stand & say I AM NOW FIGHTING BACK. I also know i have personal demons i need to exorcise because no matter what i still want to be someone my sons can be proud of… so i will collect my thoughts & try my best to forgive regardless of the fact no remorse has ever been shown.”

Kris and Korina were once co-hosts of ABS-CBN’s morning show “Morning Girls with Kris and Korina.”

When personal became political

To seemingly appeal to Korina’s conscience, Kris recalled in her post her endorsement for Korina’s husband, Mar Roxas, last presidential elections. The award-winning host said she accepted it because of her love for brother and former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

“I have really had ENOUGH.

Kris, however, also apologized for dragging Mar into the issue.

“Mar, to you i am sorry. In the same way i would always wonder why i would be dragged into issues not of my doing- i was guilty of that tonight.”

Nonetheless, Kris seemingly regretted having supported Mar instead of the current president, Rodrigo Duterte. According to her, Duterte’s camp was kind to her even if she supported the opposing Liberal Party.

She then apologized to her brother and her godmother, the mother of Mar, and ended it with a fist bump, President Duterte’s trademark sign.

Though sorry for touching on politics, she said she will not delete her posts.

“I apologize for including politics, but that is the unfortunate baggage & responsibility of my last name. But i will not delete any posts because (rewritten after some prayers)… I’ll be back after i have found my peace. Until then, to all those who still found it in their hearts to understand & embrace me & my sons- you have my eternal gratitude. #laban.”
