Kapuso star and Primetime Queen Marian Rivera described her up-coming Cinemalaya film “Balota.”
According to a report by ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, June 11, Marian said the reason why she wants to repeat the experience she had in the said movie.
“It was exciting. It was a great experience. I want to do it again,” said Marian.
“I am super excited. I was able to do many firsts— no makeup, direct does not like, or say lines I usually can’t in films and TV series. This is the fight scene I did not ask for a double,” he said.
In the end, Marian said to pray that all Filipino films will survive and that people will be able to return to the cinema.
“Let’s pray for the survival of all Filipino films. We want to bring it back to all the people,” he added.
Anyway, the movie “Balota” which is a combination of the following genres: action, drama, suspense and comedy—was written and directed by Kip Oebanda.
The Cinemalaya Film Festival starts on August 2 and ends on August 11.
