Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have moved into their new home late last year

According to the couple, it took them about four years give or take, to build their dream home, and in the latest episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” Marian said they’re still in the process of adjusting.

“Hanggang ngayon, nag-a-adjust pa rin kami,” she said. “Pag nag-a-adjust ka pala, lumipat ka, hindi pala automatic na ‘ahh, complete na.’ Every day, may masasabi ka ‘ay, parang kulang dito. Ay, parang dapat ilipat natin doon. Sa may mga ganung proseso pa kami.”

In the podcast, Marian said she couldn’t pick just one favorite spot in #CasaDantes.

“Madami e, super dami talaga,” she said.

Marian spoke of an anteroom where the whole family hangs out and watches TV. “Rambol-rambol kami doon,” she said.

When she is in need of some precious Me Time, Marian retreats to her office.

But her absolute favorite at the moment would be in their living room, in the morning, Marian says. “[Sa] pinaka-sala namin, ‘yong favorite spot ko doon kasi nandoon ‘yong tama ng araw, pag umaga. So May mga ganung arte-arte moments ako.”

She says she really took ownership of designing her office as well as her closet, as did her husband Dingdong with his, while they compromised on the master’s bedroom.

Marian shared Dingdong took care of Sixto’s room, while “ako naman kay Zia, room ni Zia ako.”

On his 42nd birthday last December, Dingdong gave a preview of their new home, and mused about how “dreams do come true, even at 42.”

And in a December episode of “24 Oras: Weekend,” Dingdong said that while the house structure took some four years to finish, the house as a dream really took more than two decades to build.
