Following the potential lawsuit against him by Kris Aquino, Doc Willie Ong received a wave of support from his followers after he posted a clarification on his official Facebook account.

In his posts, the renowned doctor made it clear that he had no connection with the fake ads endorsing a mixed nuts product that Aquino had accused him of.

Ong also revealed that he was not the owner of the account where Aquino’s likeness was being used to promote the said product, leading her to seek legal action against him. The doctor claimed that he, too, was a victim of scammers who had been impersonating him on social media and using his name to sell health products.

Despite the allegations thrown his way, Doc Willie Ong’s supporters continue to stand by him, confident in his innocence in the matter.

With the truth finally coming to light, it remains to be seen how this controversy will play out in the court of public opinion.

“cyber libel Doc, ginagamit kyo,” one follower suggested.

“We’re here for you Doc.Willie Ong..ikaw na noon pa na duktor ng masa na walang hinihinging kapalit at naniniwala kami sa yo ..hope Kris will investigate a little deeper to prove your innocence..God bless Doc..from your friends here in Honolulu,” another international supporter said.

Many more followers gave the doctor leads on products that were using his name to promote medical supplements and even performance enhancing products.

Doc Willie also received support from other celebrity doctors.

“If it’s not posted from the official and verified page of the creator then it’s not true! That’s why we have the BLUE CHECK MARK next to our profile name because that is what distinguishes us from fake pages,” Dr. Kilimanguru, who has grown popular because of his medical tips on Facebook and TikTok said.
