Last December 30, the Kapuso Royalties celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. The couple met while doing the remake of Marimar for GMA in 2007, and tied the knot in 2014. Now, they have two adorable kids, Zia and Sixto.

A few months before their eighth anniversary, they finally finished their dream house.

Marian shared that one of the best things a couple should have for a long-lasting relationship is to learn to give and take.

“Wala ‘yong lalaki siya, babae ako. Sa relationship dapat walang ganu’n, dapat pantay,” she added.

Marian also noted the importance of understanding your partner’s job and priorities, and how your partner should also understand yours.

She added, “Ang maganda niyan ay nagkakasundo kaming dalawa sa mga bagay bagay na gusto naming iprayoridad.”

She admitted that if they do disagree on things, they are quick to resolve it with a compromise and keep both of them happy.
