Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, MMFF 2017

Coco Martin and Vice Ganda are known to be besties. But it seems that the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 is starting to get the best of their friendship. Apparently, Coco Martin’s Panday and Vice Ganda’s The Revengers are both included in the first four official MMFF 2017 entries. So what happened? Here’s what we know.

The word “besties” is a reference from Coco Martin and Vica Ganda’s 2015 film, “Beauty and the Bestie.” Before they had big names in showbiz, they were already known to be close friends. Their film became such a but didn’t make it to the MMFF 2016 Magic 8 which became such a controversy. At that time, they were of course on the same side. Now, they star in separate films which automatically make them rivals. But are they also rival in real life?
