Unlike most of her co-stars in “Zoomers Season 2,” Zabel Lamberth has been in the entertainment industry for years already and has appeared in a few projects, including the primetime series “Love In 40 Days” in 2022, playing the kontrabida, Valerie. She made her acting debut in 2018, yet only signed up as a Star Magic artist in 2021.

Born Maria Izabel Santiago Lamberth, people close to her fondly call her Zabel, Zab, or Izzy. Just like her Zoomers co-star Luis Vera Perez, she also celebrates her birthday every August 21. However, she’s four years ahead of him since she’ll be turning 24 this year.

The proud Leo girlie imparted that her favorite color actually varies, probably depending on her mood for a certain period, and it’s purple at the moment. Similar to her favorite song, “Fortnight” by global pop superstar Taylor Swift featuring Post Malone, which she listens to over and over again whenever she’s driving.

Conversely, that’s not the case for her ultimate favorite food, which has always been sinigang since it’s her comfort food. According to Zabel, her grandma cooks it for her every time she feels blue. At the same time, her favorite vacation spot has been consistently Baguio City since it never fails to make her feel at home.

Many of us can probably relate to or hope to relate to her hobbies, which are traveling, cooking, and sleeping. We can also say that she’s a very organized person, as she mentioned that her special talent is management, and that she’s a very career-driven person since her ambition in life is to be successful in her craft and in what she does right now. This being said, her dream role is to become a leading lady.

For her motto in life, she quoted the great philosopher Confucius by uttering, “Do not do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you.” Saying that “love” for her means “family,” there’s no doubt that she’s a true-blue Kapamilya!

Just like her “Zoomers” character Beth, Zabel is also simple, loving, caring, and a genuine friend in real life. For sure, her first showbiz friends, Akira Morishita of BGYO, Aiyana Perlas, and Ianna Dela Torre, whom she met at the Star Magic workshops way back in 2015, can vouch for her.

With regard to her firsts, she recounted that her first-ever audition was for a certain role in a series, which she couldn’t recall anymore. She may have failed to snag the role, but she would never forget that experience since she forgot the lines that she had to deliver and couldn’t do anything but smile at the judges.

Her kilig was totally understandable when she revealed that her first fangirl moment was with Ultimate Kapamilya Heartthrob Piolo Pascual, conveying that it’s because he has a totally unique impact on her.

She wasn’t able to contain her enthusiasm, too, as she explained why Kathryn Bernardo is her showbiz role model.

“Actually, sobrang gustong-gusto ko siya. Hindi ko gustong maging siya, pero gusto kong makatulad ko ‘yong path niya,” she stated. “Sobrang galing niya, napakabait inside and out. Na-meet ko na [siya] before sa workplace ko. Grabe, wala kang masabi. Kita naman sa acting niya, laging blockbuster, laging best actress. Gusto kong maging kasinggaling ni Ms. Kathryn Bernardo.”

With the skills, dedication, and passion for the craft that she brandishes, it’s definitely possible for Zabel to reach the same status as the Asia’s Superstar in the future!
