Kim and Gerald’s deep connection and natural acting talents shone brightly as they portrayed the ups and downs of their characters’ relationship.

For many, this proposal reenactment felt like a real-life fairy tale come true, amplifying the already palpable “kilig” that fans feel for them.
Things have been looking up for Gabriel (Gerald Anderson), as seen in Monday’s episode of “Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin.”
He was cleared of the murder charge filed against him and he will soon be attending his own college graduation.
But dictates of those saying to never push your luck be damned, Gabriel also proposed to his girlfriend, Bianca (Kim Chiu).
There’s a clever snap to click open the Christmas lights surrounding them and, from there on, Bianca got an inkling of what was going on.
After falling in love when they were young, being separated by circumstance and finding each other once more, Gabriel wasn’t about to let their second chance at forever go to waste.
And it seemed that Bianca was thinking similarly, saying yes to marrying her boyfriend without hesitation.
“Noon pa lang ay pinangako ko na na lahat ibibigay ko sa iyo. Nagkahiwalay man tayo pero ‘di ka nawala dito, dito sa puso ko,” Gabriel told her.
Cue the shrieks of thousands of fans of Chiu and Anderson’s pairing, as the love team shared a passionate kiss to cap off the scene.
“Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin” airs from Mondays to Fridays every morning before “It’s Showtime.”
