A would-be romance between Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo, with the speculations hinging on a video posted on X showcasing the two sharing a moment on a dance floor.

The aforementioned clip was taken at the wedding celebration of Robi Domingo, who tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony with Maiqui Pineda last Saturday, January 6th.

In the reception, Kath was seen having a good time on the dance floor, with Donny coming to check on her. The clip raised eyebrows among netizens, with someone claiming, “Hi @donnypangilinan, ganto ka pala pag interested ka sa babae.”

On X, the groom Robi took it upon himself to clear the air—speaking up on behalf of Donny. He wrote, “Just for the record: we’re all friends here. We’ve got each other’s backs. No issues, please.”

“I think for me, it’s just having peace of mind na friends kaming lahat na okay kami, enjoy namin yung trabaho namin. And that’s the most important thing.”
