Because of his love and desire to spend his life with a rich young lady, the handsome Filipino man had to face a series of dangers in the movie “The Turn for Love”.

Few people know that before she became a talented actress and became one of the top actors in the Philippines, Coco Martin worked as a doorman and cleaner at a casino in Alberta, Canada.

Coco Martin shared that becoming an actor was something he had never thought of and it was all fate. In 2001, a director invited him to play a supporting role in the movie Luv Text . From this stepping stone, Coco Martin was invited to act in commercials, but because he was not interested in joining showbiz, he decided to continue studying Hotel Management at the National College of Business and Arts. 

In 2005, Coco Martin accepted director Brillante Mendoza’s offer to play the male lead in the  award-winning  film Masahista , and the handsome man born in 1981 became an idol of the Philippine gay film genre.

This April, he will reunite with Vietnamese small screen audiences through the role of Samuel – a gentle, kind sugarcane worker who has a dreamy love affair with Isabelle – a beautiful, intelligent young lady in the movie Ikaw Lamang . 

To protect his love, Samuel did everything to fight against the sabotage of Franco – the young master of the Salvico plantation. Samuel took Isabelle’s hand and ran away, and from here, the young couple had to face many plots: kidnapping, electrocution, and burying alive from Franco himself.
