Looks like David Licauco is on thin ice!

Ahead of the red carpet premiere of BarDa’s new movie, “That Kind of Love” on Thursday, Barbie Forteza tweeted, “uy may magmu-movie date mamaya.”

An hour later, David tweeted, “Di ako malalate” with a smiley.

But in a hilarious turn of events, Barbie ended up tweeting, “Eme eme ka naman, late ka e.”

On Friday, Barbie said in an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that she and David did not hit it off right away. One of the reasons would be because the Pambansang Ginoo always arrived late.

Barbie added that their friendship happened “slowly but surely.”

Now close friends and a successful love team at that, BarDa has several projects underway.

Aside from “That Kind of Love,” Barbie and David are among the stars of the highly anticipated historical series, “Pulang Araw” with Sanya Lopez, Alden Richards, and Dennis Trillo.

“That Kind of Love” premieres in cinemas on July 10. Meanwhile, “Pulang Araw” will debut on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on GMA Network.
