Barbie Forteza is soaking up every bit of her vacation in Illinois, United States — including exploring its food scene!

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared a glimpse of her time in Chicago, where her sister Gabrielle Vierneza is based.

Barbie, her sister, brother-in-law Ben, and nephew got to feast on shrimp and crab legs, which were served in plastic bags.

“Diyeta na lang po sa Pinas, promise,” she said in the caption.

Next, the group took to an Indian place called TAVA Restaurant and Bar, which Barbie called their “go-to.”

She shared a photo of their mouthwatering spread, which included biryani rice and samosas, among other dishes.

Of course, the actress didn’t miss out on the internet-famous Crumbl cookies.

Barbie shared a photo of herself posing in front of the bakery while holding up her cookie haul.

Even though she’s thousands of miles away from the Philippines, it seems Barbie will never tire of sinigang.

In one post, the “Pulang Araw” star flexed her sister’s sinigang, describing it as the “pinakamasarap na sinigang, I swear.”

She and her sister also had a relaxing girls’ day out in Wheaton City, where they checked out Christmas decors, gorged on fruits and pancakes, and more.

Barbie spent the Halloween in Chicago with her sister’s family. In her earlier post, she shared photos of herself dressed up as Mike Wazowski and her sister as Sulley from “Monsters Inc.”

She also got to fulfill her dream of attending Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert, sharing a reel of her unforgettable experience at the show in Indianapolis.

Barbie currently stars in “Pulang Araw” alongside David Licauco, Alden Richards, and Sanya Lopez.
